Overview
Senior Interior Designer (12-month FTC) at Sims Hilditch. We are seeking a talented Interior Designer with 7+ years of design experience in luxury residential and hospitality. During a 12-month fixed-term contract you will work closely with the Studio Lead to give design direction and delivery for multiple projects within your studio, and demonstrate strong project leadership to mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities
* Together with the Studio Lead, lead the creative direction following the client brief across all project stages.
* Inspire the team and bring new ideas to each project.
* Confidently communicate design with the client to ensure a smooth sign-off process.
* Record design and specifications; manage other project team members to deliver projects seamlessly.
* Research and select materials that fit the concept design brief and budget.
* Build supplier relationships and identify creative, sustainable approaches.
* Communicate with external contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate information flow and milestone delivery.
* Lead and manage junior team members.
Experience & Qualifications
Key Skills Required:
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
* Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA project stages and the FF&E process.
* Flexible and open attitude to new ways of working.
* Self-motivated, proactive with initiative.
* Good team player, supportive of colleagues.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Freehand sketching.
* Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
