Role: Assistant Marketing Manager - ISM Merchandising

Assistant Marketing Manager – ISM Merchandising – will be responsible for managing all in‑store merchandising activity, including 2D kit, look and feel, and customer journey across all categories. You will develop and deliver the creative communication brief, manage creative principles for 2D kit, oversee design agencies, and ensure creative execution meets brand standards.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and develop the in-store communication brief based on customer proposition and experience by format. Deliver creative (including language) for wayfinding, category resets and rebuilds in line with the merchandising plan.
* Take ownership of the creative principles for 2D kit in company shops from high level to base.
* Develop all creative for POS, including language, and new kit development.
* Work with design agencies to develop the creative response and solutions in line with the Boots visual identity and retail global principles.
* Understand customers’ needs and future expectations to innovate the customer experience, ensuring subsequent CRPs and rebuilds elevate campaign messaging.
* Work with stores to review and gain customer insights, building in changes to shopper behaviours or business needs before and after store landing.
* Manage critical paths and costs in line with project plans for all relevant milestones.
* Manage stakeholders to ensure the creative meets expectations.
* Consult/attend MSR sign-offs and make decisions on fixtures that include any 2D/3D POS.
* Accountable for the production pack development and creation for all rebuilds, ensuring correct creative and language at each stage of the customer journey.
* Coordinate with merchandising to engage key stakeholders where new 2D or 3D kit is being designed.
* Survey trial/initiatives:
o Develop creative route for any trial or initiative that lands in store.
o Create production pack for the trial or initiative and align with stakeholders.
o Sign off all creative and production packs and hand over to merchandising.
