Job Description:
Dakota Hotel, based in Newcastle, is seeking an outgoing individual with waiting experience for the role of Bar Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional service to our guests. The role involves predominantly evening shifts, suitable for individuals with daytime commitments.
Our stylish, brand-new hotel is ideally situated on the Quayside, offering 118 bedrooms including 33 suites. Dakota Newcastle features a renowned Bar & Grill, Champagne Room, Cigar Terrace, and an events space for up to 60 guests.
CONTRACT AND PAY RATE
Earnings are up to £13.21 per hour, paid weekly, with a minimum guaranteed gross annual salary of £24,497 (including anticipated tronc payment).
The role is a fixed-term contract ending on 28th September 2025, offering 30 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Working within the Bar, providing table service, taking guest orders, and delivering food and drinks to tables.
* Offering high levels of guest service, personalised drink recommendations, and engaging in genuine conversation to enhance guest experience.
* Collaborating with the Restaurant and Reception teams to ensure smooth communication.
* Having comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, including allergens, to assist guests effectively.
