We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a weing and supportive secondary school in Wigan starting in January 2026. This is a long-term position running through to the summer term, perfect for someone who wants stability and the chance to build strong relationships within a schoolmunity.
In this role, you will work closely with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing dedicated 1:1 support to help them access learning and achieve their full potential. You’ll be an integral part of the classroom, assisting teachers with lesson delivery, supporting small group activities, and ensuring every student feels included and valued.
We are looking for someone with previous secondary school experience, who is patient, proactive, and passionate about helping young people succeed. A positive attitude and the ability to build a strong rapport with students and staff are essential.
