The Opportunity
Are you an experienced IT Business Analyst with SQL and Power suite expertise? This role involves working with the Duck Creek Reinsurance Business Lead on various projects across QBE. You will support the delivery of change by leading analysis activities and driving process improvements.
Your role
Working with the Project Manager and Global Business Lead, you'll assess needs, gather requirements, design solutions, and support implementation. You'll identify areas for improvement, enhance efficiencies, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
Main Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with stakeholders, project teams, and solution architects to implement changes aligned with business objectives.
2. Plan analysis activities and ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
3. Gather requirements, create process maps, and define business and technical specifications.
4. Support testing phases, including validating test plans and facilitating UAT.
5. Monitor risks and issues, making recommendations and managing analysis-related risks.
6. Manage and motivate resources to deliver analysis outcomes.
About You
You should have a problem-solving mindset, with expertise in process, data, business, or systems analysis. Skills required include:
* Advanced SQL/Oracle knowledge and experience with relational databases.
* Proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps.
* Understanding of SDLC and multi-vendor environments.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to document requirements effectively and challenge assumptions constructively.
