About the Role

Work with schools and local authorities across the UK, planning and delivering flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring for pupils and students from KS1 to KS5 who have SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD. Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and report on lessons for students with SEND, SEMH and other special educational needs.
* Provide regular feedback on student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate with schools, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams to support students.
* Support a supportive team environment and share best practice within the SEND Support Team.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
* Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and PMLD.
* Enhanced DBS (facilitated if required) and at least two professional references.
* Right to work in the UK; remote or online work possible for UK‑based candidates.
* Familiarity with teaching English, Maths or Science at core subject level.
Desired Experience
* Roles such as SENDCo (Special Education Needs Coordinator), SLD/MLD Teacher, Autism/ADHD Support Teacher, Intervention Specialist, Ex‑Teacher.
* Background in therapeutic and learning support fields such as Learning Support Assistant, Educational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Educational Psychologist, Inclusion Coordinator.
Location & Compensation
Doncaster, South Yorkshire – £28 to £35 per hour, contract position.
