As the School Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and conducive learning environment for students and staff alike. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in management of efficient site maintenance, preferably within an educational setting, and proficiency in DIY skills.
School Facilities Manager Role
Salary: £37,500-£42,500
Contract: Full-time, Term-time, Permanent
School Facilities Manager Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a school environment is essential.
* Demonstrated experience in line management, overseeing cleaners and caretakers.
* Possession of relevant site training and qualifications such as COSHH, IOSHH, and Asbestos Awareness.
* Proficient in DIY skills for general maintenance and repairs.
* Reliable with excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
* A driving license is preferred as you will be responsible for driving the school minibus.
