Social/Wellbeing Support for Lady in Norwich NR6
This role offers flexible hours up to 15 hours weekly at £15 per hour.
Job Purpose: To provide support enabling a lady with wellbeing needs to remain independent and interact socially. The successful candidate will be based in Norwich NR6.
Job Details: The lady has FND, complex PTSD, and Tourettes, and is seeking a friendly and flexible Personal Assistant who has an understanding of her needs. The role involves supporting with everyday tasks around the home, including help organising appointments, assisting with meal preparation, and prompting to take regular medication. A major part of the role will be to support the lady to enjoy social activities, particularly being outdoors to prevent social isolation.
The ideal candidate will be calm and well organised, capable of supporting the lady's decisions, patient, and understanding of her conditions. They should also be willing to spend time enjoying outdoor activities and be a cat lover. A driver with their own car and appropriate class of business insurance would be an advantage.

Requirements: Full UK driving license and own personal car.
Terms and Conditions: The rate of pay for this position is £15.00 per hour. Hours of work are flexible up to 15 hours weekly, mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but occasionally at weekends. There may also be additional hours to cover for the other employed PA when on leave. The post offers 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays, and free Careskills training as appropriate for the role.
The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer, and completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
