Your missionWHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?Splicing of live/in build network using a Fujikura 90s or similar (company provided)Installation of various branded optical fibre cables to various types of splice enclosures, working to Viberoptix required standardsFault finding on existing network, updating and interpreting Splcing schedules.Testing and Splicing fibres to ensure that they are in line with the client quality standards using EXFO - ILM/OTDRProduction/Interperet of Fibre characterisation reports (EXFO).Ensure relevant Health & Safety standards are followed and achievedYour profileWHAT WILL YOU BRING?Ability to produce, update and interpret records of daily work logs, data recordings and network design mapsAbility to work on their own as well as part of a teamExperience of testing and splicing on a Fibre networkExperience with various types of splice enclosures Corning BPEO's size 0, 1.5 and 2, Hellermann, PrysmianConfident working at heights and underground network when requiredExcellent communication skills across all levelsExcellent organisation, communication and leadership skillsExperience of using Microsoft Office, including Word and ExcelFull valid driving licenceABOUT US Viberoptix, part of the Fibrus Group of companies, deliver specialised fibre network build solutions from design, civils activities, cabling and splicing.
