Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer – Southampton, UK
RSK Geosciences, an RSK Group company, is recruiting a full‑time, permanent Senior Geo‑Environmental Engineer to join our team in Southampton, UK.
Responsibilities
* Designing and managing geo‑environmental and geotechnical ground investigation and interpretative projects for external clients and other teams within RSK.
* Conducting soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling.
* Preparing Health & Safety plans and RAMS.
* Preparing Remediation Strategies, including verification works on site.
* Establishing and developing strong working relationships with new and existing clients.
* Providing technical leadership in the day‑to‑day delivery of projects.
Qualifications and Experience
* BEng, BSc or equivalent in Civil, Geology or Geotechnical Engineering.
* Further degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics or Environmental Science desirable.
* Registration with a suitable professional body and Chartered status (e.g., Geol Soc, CIWEM, ICE).
* Significant and demonstrable experience of geotechnical and geo‑environmental investigations and reporting.
* Demonstrable experience in preparing Geotechnical and Geo‑environmental Preliminary reports.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
