Our client, A Large public sector organisation, based in Lisburn is looking for an Intelligence officer to join their team.
Duration: March 2026 with possible extension
Rate of pay: £15.97
Location: Lisburn
Hours: 37 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Main Duties:
1. Collect, evaluate and assess intelligence, data and information gathered from multiple sources, both sensitive and non-sensitive.
2. Carry out tactical intelligence development on tasked operations, using appropriate tools, techniques and systems.
3. Produce, present and disseminate appropriate and relevant tactical intelligence outputs to inform decision making.
4. Deliver briefings and presentations, making recommendations to support the decision making and risk management process.
5. Ensure appropriate and secure handling and dissemination of sensitive and non-sensitive material in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
6. Conduct complex and wide ranging intelligence developments within a tactical/operational environment, in support of the Northern Ireland Environment Agencies priorities in the fight to tackle Environmental Crime.
Essential Criteria:
7. 5 GCSEs A-C (Must include Maths and English)
8. Experience gained from performing Intelligence Officer functions either previously or currently
Desired:
9. IPP Intelligence Officer certification
or
Non-certificated IPP Intelligence Officer currently working towards this certificate as a substantive officer in an IPP aligned role.
