Responsibilities:
1. 1:1 Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to children with ASD, demonstrating patience and positivity throughout the school day.
2. Communication Development: Assist students in developing speech, communication, and learning skills in a nurturing environment.
3. Mentorship & Positive Reinforcement: Encourage positive behaviours and motivate children to explore learning and growth opportunities.
4. Creative Engagement: Organize fun and skill-building activities that promote confidence, social skills, and friendships.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Natural Compassion & Patience: Enjoy working with children and understanding their needs.
* Experience with ASD: Recent experience working with children with ASD, understanding their unique strengths and challenges.
* Behaviour Management Skills: Ability to promote positive behaviour and decision-making.
* Proactive & Engaging Attitude: Create interactive and enjoyable learning experiences.
