As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead advanced analytics initiatives across customer lifecycle management, network optimization, and fraud detection. You will design and deploy machine learning models that directly impact customer retention, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to mentor teams and collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Analytics & Churn Management
* Build predictive models to identify churn risks and recommend retention strategies.
* Analyze customer usage data to design personalized offers and improve ARPU.
Network Optimization
* Forecast traffic demand and optimize bandwidth allocation using ML techniques.
* Apply anomaly detection to proactively identify and resolve network issues.
* Develop models to detect SIM card fraud, subscription fraud, and unusual usage patterns.
* Collaborate with risk teams to strengthen fraud prevention systems.
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities through advanced analytics.
* Provide insights to support new telecom services, including 5G and IoT solutions.
* Mentor junior data scientists and analysts.
* Partner with engineering, product, and marketing teams to integrate data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
* Experience: 6+ years in data science, with at least 3 years in telecom or related industries.
* Worked in B2B Telecom operator domain
* Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Spark, Hadoop, TensorFlow/PyTorch.
* Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and big data frameworks.
* Experience with telecom datasets (CDRs, billing, CRM, OSS/BSS systems).
* Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
