Job Summary
We are currently recruiting Live-In Care Assistants to provide full-time support for our customers in their own homes. This role is ideal for caring and committed individuals who want to make a real difference in someone’s life while enjoying a rewarding and stable live-in role.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Administer or prompt medication
Support with meal planning and preparation
Assist with mobility, using aids and equipment when required
Provide companionship and emotional support
Carry out light household duties (cleaning, laundry)
Support with shopping and attending appointments
Record and report daily activities and any changes in the customer’s condition
Maintain confidentiality and dignity at all times
Requirements
Previous experience in care (live-in, domiciliary, or residential) preferred but not essential
Right to work in the UK
Good spoken and written English
Friendly, reliable, and patient personality
Willingness to undergo PVG check
Able to commit to live-in placements for a minimum of 1-6 weeks at a time
Flexible and able to work across Edinburgh and Ayrshire
