IT Team Leader• Work within a growing area for NFU Mutual• Operation lead for key strategic systems• Hybrid role with 80% homeworking and 20% in Stratford Upon Avon About the roleNFU Mutual are currently recruiting for an IT Team Leader for their Customer Correspondence and Document area on a permanent basis. The main responsibilities for this role are to lead, influence, evaluate, implement & manage appropriate Group IT objectives, activities and resources in line with Group IT Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements and processes while promoting continuous improvement and fit for purpose IT systems and services. Within this role you will lead two operational teams managing their applications and infrastructure. This will include managing a key third party and their delivery to NFU Mutual. You will also be working closely with the Scrum Master for these teams to support delivery of projects and BAU work into the production environment. Making sure that we keep a key focus on the service that we deliver. This role will give you a holistic overview of the end-to-end document processes within NFU Mutual helping you to make key decisions on the services. You’ll have the opportunity to lead, manage, motivate and develop direct reports so that they know what is expected, are able to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential as well as lead, facilitate, advise and support staff using appropriate IT expertise in order to verify and validate technical solutions and IT deliverables in line with IT quality standards and good practice. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate they can lead, influence and facilitate relevant two-way communications to ensure that information is delivered in an effective, appropriate and timely manner, to promote holistic, quality understanding and collaborative work; as well as ensuring that stakeholders are engaged. This key role within NFU Mutual's IT function requires the successful candidate to be able to establish, implement, monitor, challenge and communicate Group IT and Corporate Processes as appropriate, to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance and promote proactive and continuous improvement as well as manage resources effectively to ensure that resources have the required skills, utilisation is maximised, understood and aligned to plan(s), budget and to timeframes. You’ll plan, review, implement and evaluate activities within area of responsibility in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders that are aligned to agreed resources and Group IT processes, SLAs, KPIs and/or objectives and be able to identify, manage, challenge, report and evaluate risks, trends and issues in Group IT to facilitate solutions, promote innovation and continuous improvement in line with Group Risk Strategy frameworks.About youWe are seeking a proactive and self aware professional who can build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
