Procurement Manager – Defence Projects
Location: South West England
Salary: Up to £80,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Manager to support major defence infrastructure and manufacturing programmes in the South West. This role offers the chance to work on high-value, long-term projects within a growing and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies aligned with project goals
* Manage supplier engagement, tendering processes, and contract negotiations
* Ensure procurement activities are compliant with relevant policies and regulations
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
Requirements:
* Strong background in procurement, ideally within defence, infrastructure, or construction sectors
* Solid understanding of commercial frameworks and public sector procurement practices
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Security clearance or the ability to obtain it is desirable
