Nursing Home Manager – Dementia Care
Location: Glastonbury
£60,000-£65,000
We are looking for an exceptional Nursing Home Manager with a specialism in dementia care to lead and shape a Somerset Nursing home owned by a developing care provider.
This is more than a management role. It’s an opportunity to create a home where residents truly live well, families feel absolute trust, and staff are proud of the care they deliver every single day.
About the Role
As Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the leadership, culture, quality, and performance of the home. You will be empowered to build a dementia service rooted in compassion, evidence-based practice, and innovation.
You will:
Lead, inspire, and develop a skilled multidisciplinary team
Set and maintain outstanding standards of dementia care and person-centred practice
Create a warm, homely, and stimulating environment for residents living with dementia
Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, with a clear ambition for Outstanding
Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively without losing sight of care quality
Champion continuous improvement and new approaches to dementia care
About You
We are looking for a Nurse Registered Manager local to Glastonbury who has has a good track record of GOOD CQC reports!
You will bring:
Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Deputy Manager within dementia care
History of achieving GOOD CQC reports
In-depth knowledge of dementia best practice and regulatory requirements
