Prospect Medical Group have an exciting opportunity for a 6 session salaried GP to join a friendly, enthusiastic, forward thinking GP practice.
In accordance with the practice timetable the successful applicant will be available to undertake a variety of duties including face to face, telephone and e-consultations, home visits, medicine management and associated paperwork. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
GPs with a range of experience levels and interests are welcome to apply.
The Practice also offers a number of specialist clinics and enhanced services, allowing clinicians to develop and use additional skills.
This post is offered as a 12 month fixed-term contract, with a view to extension or becoming permanent subject to performance and organisational requirements.

Main duties of the job
As part of your role, you will participate in the triage rota, making clinical decisions and prioritising appointment requests via eConsult. Outside of triage duties, you will manage your own clinics, providing care for acute, complex, and long-term conditions. You will be responsible for delivering a safe and efficient patient journey, including all associated administrative tasks such as referrals, reviewing test results, and completing documentation.
You will also be expected to take part in home visits and care home rounds as required. You will be mentored and supported by the Partners and wider multi-disciplinary team, which includes Management, Admin, Nurses, HCAs, Social Prescribers, and Pharmacists. You will also be expected to take part in practice meetings relevant to your role.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
* Inclusion of NHS England performers list.
* Membership of a medical defence union.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of an effective multi-disciplinary team.
* Interest in developing a clinical speciality area.
