Our client, a top 50 leading firm of chartered accountants and business advisers with a rich heritage spanning over a century, are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team in St Albans.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to their month end process, including the preparation and posting of month end journals to Xero.
2. Become involved in the preparation of the management accounts, including maintaining and preparing balance sheet reconciliations as well as WIP and debtor schedules.
3. Support the credit card and employee expenses processes, ensuring employee expenses are processed and reimbursed on a timely basis.
4. Provide support to the credit control team, including helping chase clients for payments, running reports, mail mergers and updating fees ledgers.
5. Help maintain their practice management system (CCH).
