Job Description
TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for a Machinist for one of our external clients in the Edinburgh area to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on multi skilled professional to join a busy engineering workshop.
Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain CNC and manual milling machines, lathes, turning and drilling equipment in a busy machine shop.
* Manufacture batch and one-off components to precise specifications.
* Interpret and work accurately from technical drawings while meeting required quality standards.
* Work both independently and collaboratively with other workshop departments.
* Manage multiple machining tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all work produced.
* Follow and comply with company Health & Safety policies and workshop procedures.
* Contribute to a proactive, reliable and hard-working workshop environment.
Requirements
* Time-served tradesman with proven experience in machining, turning and drilling.
* Experience operating CNC and manual milling machines and lathes.
* Ability to read and accurately interpret technical and engineering drawings.
* Full and clean driving licence preferred.
