Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including workstations and dining areas.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards.
* Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or pastries as required.
* Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
* Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Skills
* Previous barista experience is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to craft excellent beverages.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Proficient in serving customers with a friendly attitude, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders accurately.
* Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
