Overview
SME New Business Broker - Yorkshire / Hybrid Role. Fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected independent insurance broker in West Yorkshire. They have been growing consistently, opening up a wide range of exciting new roles within their commercial insurance division. This is a great team, a professional and enjoyable working environment with flexibility and part office / part home working available.
In this team, you will deal mainly with SME commercial clients with annual premium spends of up to £10k, with occasional larger cases up to circa £25k. This is a new business role; all enquiries will be incoming (no outbound or cold calling) connected to various schemes of specific distribution channels. Day to day, you will respond to a wide variety of new business enquiries, take initial details, and go to market to find the best deals. Prior use of Acturis would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
* Handle inbound new business enquiries, gather initial details, and go to market to source the best deals.
* Respond to a wide variety of new business inquiries and manage the process from inquiry to quotation.
* Utilise Acturis experience if applicable.
Qualifications
* At least 12 months of commercial insurance experience; brokers preferred, but underwriters will be considered.
* Approach is consultative rather than aggressive sales, with focus on long-term client relationships.
