Engineering Manager – Buchan
Joining bonus of £2,000 and a generous relocation package to the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead a team of engineers responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles and managing plant and buildings.
* Develop engineering team skills and knowledge for both experienced technicians and apprentices.
* Oversee a team of professionals using tools and equipment to keep 45 buses and coaches in top condition.
* Ensure vehicles are presented to high standards expected by customers, with autonomy over resource management, stock and people.
* Handle ordering, inventory management, recruiting, training, and health & safety activities.
* Provide support, advice, and daily management of the engineering team.
Qualifications
* Experience as an engineer in a related field such as truck, light commercial or rail industries.
* Evidence of people management experience, regardless of team size.
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
