Overview
Halesowen College is seeking an innovative and passionate lecturer to join our dedicated team in delivering high-quality teaching within the Hairdressing and Barbering curriculum area. This role involves teaching both full-time and part-time programmes across Levels 1 to 3. Expertise in Level 2 Hairdressing Services, Level 3 Hairdressing Services, and advanced Barbering techniques would be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities
* Teach both full-time and part-time programmes across Levels 1 to 3 within Hairdressing and Barbering.
* Foster an engaging learning environment and empower learners to achieve their full potential and progress in their studies and careers.
* Support learners in competition work where applicable (experience in competition work is highly desirable).
* Meet the needs of the college as a short-term hourly paid position; hours are varied and flexibility is essential.
* Comply with safeguarding requirements and enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks for all successful candidates.

Qualifications
* Teaching qualification and an assessor's award or be working towards obtaining them.
