Unlock Your Passions at Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital:
Clockhouse Vets is situated in the beautiful county of Gloucestershire. We have our Veterinary Hospital located in Stroud and our Veterinary Clinic which is located at Nailsworth. We are close to Stroud station and have easy access to M5 and M4 and close to great towns such as Cheltenham and Bristol. We are open to new protocols and clinical excellence is encouraged.
We are a very forward-thinking practice that has a focus on gold standard and contextualised care for our patients. We have a focus on environmental sustainability and have invested in an oxygen generator and anaesthetic circuits for low flow anaesthesia.
Both of our sites have fantastic, dedicated teams who strive to give the best service to our clients and their pets. Our Stroud site have 7 FTE Vets and 6 FTE Nurses who will be on hand to offer you support as you start your Veterinary journey. Socialisation and wellbeing is important and many social activities such as go ape and pottery painting have been carried out recently.
We have excellent facilities which include Dental X-ray, X-ray, Ultrasound, In House Lab, Laparoscopic, Dental Suite, Surgical Suite and a Separate dog and cat ward. We also have certificate holders within our team in Medicine and Dermatology.
Enjoy a welcoming environment with structured support and flexibility to suit your lifestyle.
You will work 40 hours per week. Shifts can be 8 hours or 10 hours and the total 40 hours can be spread across 4 or 5 days. There will be a 1 in 6 Saturday shift which is 8am-2pm, where lieu time will be given.
In terms of support, there is a VetGDP advisor, assigned mentor and regular check ins with the clinical director. Initial consultations will be of a longer length with support and time will decrease in line with progression and comfort of the graduate. Surgical assistance and training are also provided.
