The role
We are working with a well-established 11–18 secondary school in Northumberland to recruit a Geography Teacher for supply and long-term opportunities. This role would suit a passionate geographer who can deliver engaging, relevant lessons and inspire curiosity about the world around us.
The Humanities faculty is collaborative and well supported, with clear schemes of work and a strong emphasis on inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning.

Responsibilities
* Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
* Deliver engaging lessons covering physical and human geography
* Differentiate to meet the needs of mixed-ability classes
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic progress
* Work collaboratively within the Humanities department
The ideal candidate
* QTS, QTLS, or equivalent UK teaching experience
* Strong subject knowledge in Geography
* Confident classroom management skills
* Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
* Open to day-to-day, long-term, or permanent roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
