An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced fulltime Data Quality Administrator to join our team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced person who has worked inGeneral Practice previously in a similar role. The DataQuality role is pivotal in communicating the QOF/LES/DES practiceattainment for generating income promoting safety and maintaining quality forthe Practice by undertaking audits, summarising patient records which requiredto ensure the accuracy of clinical read-coding to accurately capture Q&OF informationbut also for the accuracy of monthly claims for these services. Issuing and monitoring patient invitations for monthlyrecall of Chronic Disease Management by running the relevant reports andsearches through SystmOne and Ardens to make patient appointments via AccuRx,Text, telephone, email or postal invitations.
Undertaking regular QOF searches to ensure any patientsmissed from the Long-Term Conditions register are followed up with appointmentsensuring that the correct Clinical Coding and monitoring has been undertaken.
Scanning & filing of letters under the appropriatetemplate and Clinical Coding of information from the letters capturingappropriate information for Q&OF purposes, follow up any actions keepingclinicians and staff updated. Reporting back to the GPs, Clinicians and Practice Managerregarding the QOF position, patients attendance and correct clinical coding. Transparency and accuracy in monitoring claims and income. This role includes development of new services as and whenthe contract or services change.

We are a large friendly 19,000 patient list size GP Practicebased in Mansfield within Mansfield Community Hospital. We currently have 5Partners, 6 Salaried GPs, a well established Nursing & Non-clinical adminteam. We currently have a CQC rating of Outstanding. Our building is spaciousand modern with patient/staff car parking.
Job responsibilities
Issuing and monitoring patient invitations for monthlyrecall of Chronic Disease Management by running the relevant reports andsearches issuing appointments via AccuRx, Text or postal invitations

Organising & Facilitating the Annual Flu programmeincluding searches, patient invitations and updating Templates
Diabetic eye screening validation of lists
Facilitation Admission Avoidance patient monitoring recallsand searches
Clinical and non-clinical audit as required
Adding and developing appropriate templates
Claims for Vaccinations
Child Immunisation quarterly report (in open Exeter/PCSE)
Searches as required
Set up reports in SystmOne
Set up Protocols
Work together with teaching the basics of claims/searcheswith any new colleagues to the role
In addition to the primary responsibilities, the dataadministrator may be requested to:
Partake in audit as directed by the Clinicians and PracticeManager

Experience
* Experience of working in a GP Practice doing this role is essential using SystmOne & Ardens searches Understanding of data quality, clinical coding, recalls, patient Searches Confident written and verbal communication skills Experience running clinical searches & co-ordinating recall programmes Ability to manage workload independently and work with minimal supervision Previous experience in a GP practice or similar role
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent preferably C or grade 4 or above
