Position Details

This part-time (20 hours per week, 09:00-13:00 Mon-Fri or similar) FTC position is a member of the Product Development Team. The role is specifically responsible for maintaining the blood donor databases and blood requirements to support Revvity’s Product Development, Quality Control activities, and broader blood-related initiatives.


Overall Responsibilities

Working closely with Product Development and other departments, the role involves critical support activities across various projects within Oxford Immunotec.

Responsibilities include:

1. Coordination and maintenance of all database activities and blood requirements supporting T-, T-Cell Select, and other T-SPOT related products.
2. Acting as the company phlebotomist, arranging and attending external and internal blood donations.
3. Collaborating with groups within the UK and US, including Technical Support, Clinical, Product Development, and blood donation organizations.
4. Sourcing blood from external vendors as needed.
5. Ensuring compliance with lab development standards.


Specific Deliverables

The role involves:

* Managing databases and clinical information used by Oxford Immunotec’s Product Development Team, ensuring timely completion of work.
* Fulfilling blood requirements efficiently and within deadlines.
* Collecting blood from donors, recording, and storing donations in accordance with SOPs.
* Maintaining compliance with the Company Quality Management System and regulatory standards.
* Facilitating professional and timely communication between blood donation groups, Oxford Immunotec, and other departments.
* Data collection and entry for pre-clinical studies and other teams as required, ensuring accuracy and GDPR compliance.
* Promoting awareness of the voluntary blood donation system to maximize recruitment.
* Maintaining stock levels and managing orders as necessary.
