We have a new opportunity available at NG Bailey for an engineering assistant to join our offsite manufacturing team. NG Bailey's offsite manufacturing facilities offer fast-track delivery of bespoke mechanical and electrical solutions, designed to budget, minimizing onsite disruption, and ensuring delivery to programme is guaranteed.
The purpose of the role is to provide a professional and reliable support service to the project teams within our new facility. This role will initially be based in the Bradford region, but will move to a new site in Dewsbury once that facility is available in a few months.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring health and safety processes are followed to promote a safety-first culture.
* Supporting the ERP system by adding demand elements as requested by engineers and project managers, maintaining health and safety files and inspection plans.
* Assisting with document control, including receipting, checking, printing, copying, and distributing project documents.
* Maintaining drawing and TQ registers, managing production and issuing transmittal notes.
* Coordinating the creation of new parts for procurement.
* Compiling handover packs for manufacturing and subcontractors.
* Producing project documentation, including operation & maintenance manuals.
* Amending department processes and ensuring proper storage in SharePoint.
* Handling administrative duties such as booking hotels, meeting rooms, covering reception, and managing calls.
