AMCOR - Dumfries site
You’re an innovative thinker, passionate about the planet and eager to play a role in creating sustainable packaging that keeps the world healthy, fed and working. As part of our world-class, performance-focused team you will have the opportunity to learn about the business whilst assisting the management team and obtaining a qualification through your apprenticeship. The Dumfries site recycles and manufactures plastic lumber which is made into outdoor furniture, benches and planters.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, working Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm for a 37.5 hour week.
Key Job Accountabilities
* Engineering and production stock control
* Purchasing and store control
* Liasing with suppliers, ensuring best price and delivery times
* To carry out lab testing and documentation of finished production items
* General administration duties
* Reporting and analysis
Qualifications/Requirements
* 5 GCSEs at grade A-C / 4-9 including Maths and English
* Good IT skills
* Adaptable, flexible with good communication
* Good attention to detail
