Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage daily despatch activities to meet delivery targets
* Prepare and maintain efficient despatch schedules
* Verify outgoing shipments against orders and ensure all documentation is correct
* Ensure goods are correctly packaged, labeled, and meet quality standards prior to despatch
* Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to confirm delivery requirements and resolve any issues
* Provide regular updates to stakeholders on delivery progress or delays
* Generate and manage shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes
* Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and regulatory requirements for domestic and international shipping
* Work closely with warehouse staff to manage stock levels and allocate goods for despatch
* Monitor and report on inventory discrepancies or damages
Skills and Competencies:
* Proven background in despatch, logistics, or shipping coordination
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
* High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
* Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Proactive problem solver with a hands-on attitude
* Knowledge of logistics, warehouse, and transport operations
* Confident using MS Office (especially Excel); ERP/WMS experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
