Digital Platform Manager - Make platforms actually work, not just exist
Most companies have digital platforms.
Few actually use them properly.
That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a Digital Platform Manager who isn’t interested in just maintaining systems but in making them deliver real business value.
This role sits at the centre of the business, connecting marketing, sales, clinical, and operations. You’ll take ownership of how our platforms are used day to day, ensuring they support real workflows, drive engagement, and genuinely improve how teams operate.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll own the effectiveness of our digital ecosystem, not just the tools themselves.
• Ensure our platforms such as web, CRM, and content systems are actively used and delivering value
• Oversee the full lifecycle of content from creation through to publishing and retirement
• Make sure everything is accurate, compliant, and aligned to brand and clinical standards
• Take ownership of CRM data quality so it supports targeting, reporting, and decision making
• Design and improve end to end user journeys based on real behaviour, not theory
• Drive adoption across teams and embed platforms into everyday workflows
• Identify inefficiencies, workarounds, and gaps, then fix them
• Balance governance with usability without overcomplicating processes
• Work closely with technical teams while staying business led in decision making
• Focus on outcomes such as engagement, efficiency, and growth
What we’re looking for
You’re not a developer and you’re not trying to be.
You understand how platforms should work in a real business environment.
• Experience managing digital platforms, CRM, or content systems
• Strong understanding of content, data, and user journeys
• Comfortable working across teams and influencing stakeholders
• Confident challenging poor processes or underuse of systems
• Commercial mindset with a focus on results over activity
• Ability to simplify complexity and bring structure to unclear environments
• Experience in regulated environments such as GDPR or healthcare is helpful
What success looks like
• Platforms are actively used, not bypassed
• Content is consistent, current, and easy to find
• Data is trusted and actionable
• Teams follow clear and simple processes
• The platform supports the business, not the other way around
What this role is not
• Not a developer or technical architect
• Not a passive system administrator
• Not a ticket manager
