We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated business support colleague to work within our Educational Psychology and Specialist Support Service team. The work of this team is high-profile, fast-paced, and essential to ensuring timely access to specialist advice, statutory assessments, and therapeutic interventions. The main tasks for this role will include coordinating appointments, managing practitioner diaries, processing EHCP consultation responses, maintaining case records in our secure systems, and supporting the production and dispatch of psychological advice reports to schools and parents, using email or post via encrypted channels. With over 5,000 active cases and growing demand, this is a busy and rewarding team, and further responsibilities will be introduced as your experience develops. You will have a professional and confidential approach to the work, will be a strong team player, be organised, able to use initiative, prioritise work and problem-solve. You will have good listening and communication skills, experience of using MS Teams, Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint), an eye for detail and the ability to handle confidential information in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Full training will be provided either face to face or over MS Teams. You will understand that this is a challenging role but ultimately rewarding and will help to build on your already excellent approach to teamwork and customer service. Nottinghamshire County Council are committed to developing hybrid ways of working which will see you not only working from an office space in Meadow House for TWO days a week but will also provide you with opportunities for homeworking. Therefore, you will need to not only be able to work independently but also develop strong links with teams whilst working remotely.
