Commissioning Engineer Opportunity in London\n\nAre you an experienced Generator Commissioning Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? This dynamic company is seeking a talented Commissioning Engineer to join their special projects division.\n\nAs a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the company's high-end special projects, from design through to delivery, commissioning, and final handover. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, multi-synchronising generator projects, leveraging your strong technical abilities and broad industry experience.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Commission and fault-find low voltage generators up to 3MVA\n- Commissioning of synchronising systems, both in island mode and mains paralleling\n- Work with various control systems, including DeepSea, ComAp, Woodward, and FGWilson\n- Collaborate with installation technicians, project managers, and customers to ensure successful project delivery\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\n\nExtensive experience in commissioning and fault-finding generators\nProficient in commissioning synchronising systems and understanding of related concepts (e.g., G59, G99, BaseLoad, Peak Lopping)\nHands-on experience with PLC systems and communications protocols\nRelevant qualifications related to BS7671 and SSSTS (or willingness to obtain)\nExcellent customer-facing skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels\nRight to work and hold permanent residence in the UK\nWillingness to travel within the M25 zone and occasionally outside of London\nBenefits:\n\n25 days of holiday, excluding statutory holidays\nEnhanced payment terms for additional hours worked\nCompany pension scheme and health insurance\nBonus scheme\nIf you're a skilled Commissioning Engineer with a passion for delivering complex generator projects, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
