Interim FP&A Analyst – 3-Month Contract
Our client is seeking a recently qualified accountant with proven analytical skills and commercial thinking. As interim FP&A we need someone who can slot in quickly, pick things up fast, and provide extra capacity on core FP&A work. You’ll help with forecasting, reporting, and improving processes and have strong modelling skills and clear communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analysis
* Produce and improve KPI reporting.
* Prepare clear variance analysis with simple explanations of what’s driving results.
Financial Planning & Forecasting
* Support rolling forecasting.
* Build and maintain financial models for new business opportunities.
* Check and challenge inputs from operational teams.
Process & Improvement Work
* Help streamline reporting and planning processes.
* Spot issues, tidy things up, and suggest better ways of working.
What We Need
* Solid FP&A experience.
* Advanced Excel and modelling ability including power query and power pivot.
* Able to get up to speed quickly and work independently.
* Straightforward communicator who can explain numbers clearly.
