Are you looking for a new role working with an organisation that really makes a difference? Changeworks is a leading organisation dedicated to decarbonising Scotland’s homes and facilitating a just transition to net zero.
We are seeking a self-motivated, organised, and professional individual with good IT skills and a customer-focused approach. The Central Support Administrator, part of the Facilities team, handles a broad range of internal and external requests and enquiries. Our role is to provide a timely, friendly, and helpful service to ensure Changeworks’ operations run smoothly.
This varied role involves working within a busy and dynamic team. As the first point of contact via reception and helplines (phone and online), excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential.
You will use various systems and processes to monitor and update the Facilities helpdesk, manage stock levels, and update records, so strong IT skills (Microsoft 365 / Office) are required.
Full training will be provided, including operational (facilities) specific training such as fire warden certification.
We welcome applications from candidates with some experience and those interested in pursuing a Modern Apprenticeship (Business Administration or Facilities), working with a learning provider to achieve an SVQ Qualification.
About The Company
Changeworks is a great place to work. We hold Investors in People Platinum accreditation, a distinction held by only a few organisations in Scotland. Our staff overwhelmingly recommend us as an employer.
The Climate Emergency has led to ambitious national targets to reduce carbon emissions from the built environment and decrease fuel poverty. This has resulted in a significant increase in pilot and large-scale interventions delivered by Changeworks and external partners, including domestic energy efficiency retrofit and decarbonisation projects.
As a growing organisation, this role is crucial to achieving our ambitious objectives. We aim to decarbonise homes across Scotland on a large scale, and talented individuals like you are essential to our success. You will receive comprehensive training, coaching, and mentoring.
We offer a wide range of staff benefits, including flexible working, a bike-to-work scheme, an excellent pension scheme, and 26 days of paid holiday plus 9 public holidays annually.
At Changeworks, we welcome and encourage applications from everyone.
