Home Manager – Awel Y Mor, Saundersfoot (Pembrokeshire)
Full-time | 38 hours per week

We’re looking for a compassionate, committed, and confident Home Manager to lead the team at Awel Y Mor, a residential home for adults with complex needs associated with autism, located in the beautiful coastal village of Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire.

As Home Manager, you'll play a vital part in ensuring that every person we support thrives in an environment where they feel understood and respected.
About the Role: As Home Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home — managing staff, overseeing care plans, handling budgets, and making sure everything meets the highest standards. You’ll be key to building a positive, high-performing culture where both individuals and staff feel valued and supported.
Your responsibilities as a Home Manager will include:
1. Managing staff and leading by example.
2. Ensuring the home is fully compliant with all regulations and best practice.
3. Overseeing risk management, safeguarding, and any concerns or complaints.
4. Working closely with families, external professionals, and regulators.
5. Keeping everything on track with regular reports and home improvement planning.
What We’re Looking For:
6. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Adults).
7. Registered with Social Care Wales.
8. Previous experience in a management role within a similar setting.
9. A solid understanding of autism and complex needs.
10. Confident in leading a team and supporting staff development.
11. Great communication and organisational skills.
Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
