We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Associate in Health Economics to join our Department of Cardiovascular Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to multidisciplinary research funded by NIHR programmes, focusing on systematic reviews, economic analyses, and decision-analytic modelling. You will work closely with clinicians, statisticians, and healthcare methodologists on impactful projects, including targeted screening for abdominal aortic aneurysm and the RAF trial on revascularisation strategies. The role also involves small teaching and administrative responsibilities, alongside active participation in departmental activities aligned with the University’s strategic themes. You will disseminate findings through publications and conferences, contribute to grant applications, and engage in outreach and public engagement activities that reflect our commitment to being Citizens of Change. About you You will hol d a PhD or equivalent experience in health economics and have a strong track record in economic evaluation, particularly alongside clinical trials. Your expertise will include developing simulation models, conducting economic analyses, and analysing large datasets with proficiency in statistical packages such as SAS, R, or Stata. E xcellent communication skills are essential, as you will present findings to diverse audiences and publish outputs of internationally recognised quality.
