Treloar’s is a charity which runs one of the UK’s largest specialist education centres for young disabled people to live and learn. Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully take part in life and achieve their aspirations.
Position
Physiotherapy Assistant
Full or part time considered, Term time only. Salary: £24,814 - £26,280 per annum (dependent on experience).
Responsibilities
* Support the Physiotherapists with student programmes enabling students to maintain their personal independence.
* Treat students according to set treatment protocols, monitor student performance, and report back to the physiotherapists on student treatment and support programmes.
* Help ensure a safe environment and assist with hydrotherapy, care and many other treatments.
Qualifications
* Minimum of one year’s experience working with children and/or young adults with physical and/or learning disabilities.
* A good general education, including maths & English at grades 9 – 4 / A – C.
* Strong desire to motivate and demonstrate empathy with young people, and the ability to communicate at all levels.
