From our Highland workshop we offer our customers a range of services including: combustion and control system maintenance, preparation of boilers for annual inspections and NDT, complete overhaul, servicing and calibration of system valves, steam and condensate system maintenance, design and survey and supply of spares for all manufacturers of steam and condensate equipment._What will I be doing?...._No day is the same - your role will involve, but not be limited to…· Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of gas and combustion equipment on customer sites· Responding to customer callouts including participation in out of hours rota system – after relevant training· Evaluating and resolving technical problems on-site and remotely alongside Boiler and Valve colleagues and/or site contacts· Fault finding, diagnosis and repair· Installing, commissioning, and servicing of combustion and gas equipment· Testing and monitoring the performance of equipment and plant· Mechanical and electrical maintenance work on industrial steam plant when required· Providing customers with regular reports and feedback on their service requests, including completion of relevant paperwork· Developing and maintaining relationships with customers· After sales activities; providing customers with upgrade and energy saving optionsParticipate in training and development as part of continuous personal development_What do I need to be considered for this role?...._To be considered for this role, you should have:· Engineering degree or equivalent (HNC or above)· Current ACS commercial and/or domestic gas qualifications· Strong, proven background in an engineering environment· Field based engineering experience, ideally in a customer facing role· Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with dedication to achieving maximum performance and efficiency· Ability to make decisions, use initiative and work unsupervised· Capable of working accurately at speed, under pressure and with a wide-ranging remit· Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences and produce high quality reports· A full and valid UK driving licence_What we offer?...._· A highly competitive salary based on your skills and experience· A bespoke and industry leading training package to develop your multi-discipline skills· A great benefits package including private medical, death in service and gym memberships· The chance to help grow an established but expanding company, contribute to shaping our futureTo apply for this role please submit a C.V and cover letter to operations@boilerandvalve.com.
