What does this role entail?
A day in the life of a Kitchen Porter would include...
* Aiding the Chefs and kitchen team within food preparation duties and setting up the kitchen ahead of service
* Adhering to the highest standards of Health & Safety, as well as Food Safety, both with the products that are served and within the working environment
* Supporting with deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely
* Working in the pot-wash area in a timely manner to support with the operational requirements
* Working as part of a team to ensure the operation runs smoothly
What is required for this role?
Here are some desirable qualities for this role...
* Previous Food and Beverage or Hospitality experience is required
* Be able to remain calm under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner
* Be a great communicator, both with peers as well as the management team
* Be adaptable and flexible to support with business requirements
* Be approachable at all times with a positive can-do attitude and show willingness towards being a team player
