The role involves working with a wide range of machinery and automated systems, requiring strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance across the Tewkesbury production and distribution siteRespond to breakdowns and provide reactive maintenance supportFault find, repair, and test electrical and mechanical plant equipmentCarry out electrical installation work including single and three phase systemsEnsure compliance with electrical regulations, inspection protocols, and testing requirementsAssist with electrical improvement and installation projects across siteConduct scheduled inspections, lubrication, and maintenance of machineryPerform annual emergency lighting and electrical distribution testingWork closely with the Engineering Manager to adapt maintenance schedules as requiredFollow all company Health & Safety policies and proceduresWhat We're Looking ForQualified Electrical Engineer with strong electrical biasCity & Guilds 2391-51 - Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Amendment 2)Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical InstallationsStrong electrical fault finding and diagnostic skillsExperience working with automated or high-speed machineryIdeally experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage prioritiesCommitted to delivering high standards of workmanship and safetyPlease apply with your CV in the first instance.Wright Staff are acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.
