The Positive Futures Team works with children over 16 years old, cared for by the local authority, including separated migrant children. Children transfer into the team when they approach 16 and begin Pathway Planning. As an Assistant Team Manager, you will manage a pod of social workers, ensuring they provide the best possible outcomes for the young individuals you support. What you will do: - Use your leadership skills to manage a pod of social workers, fostering strong relationships between them and the children. - Provide reflective supervision, focusing on the crucial bond between social workers and the young people in their care. - Ensure all children's needs are met through effective management and provision of resources. - Participate in Pathway Planning for children transitioning into the team. - Collaborate closely with team and service managers, contributing to the development of a supportive and progressive work environment.
