bring structure- reviewing templates, symbols, components, and properly setting up AutoCAD Electrical for our configurable products
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the go-to person for all things electrical-leading improvements, refining designs, and driving the development of our next generation of products. Key bits include:
* Design & Deliver: Produce clear, standards-compliant electrical schematics and documentation (AutoCAD Electrical preferred, but we're not religious about it).
* Own the Process: Specify components, design for global markets, and take ownership from concept through to the shop floor.
* Collaborate & Innovate: Work alongside a friendly and clever team in R&D, manufacturing and production-your ideas won't just be heard, they'll be built.
* Evolve & Improve: Play a pivotal role in enhancing reliability, safety and performance across our growing product range.
* A Degree, HND or Level 5 qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar.
* Around 3+ years of hands-on experience in machinery or equipment-based electrical engineering roles.
* Fluent in electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical or similar) and knows their way around a control panel.
* Experience in wiring, testing and assembly.
* Good communicator with a methodical, problem-solving brain and a sense of ownership.
Bonus Points If You Also Have
* Experience designing for international power specs (if you've ever had to ask, Is this the 60Hz or 50Hz region, you're our kind of person).
* Familiarity with PLCs, control systems or configurable product design.
* A background in small-batch or configurable manufacturing.
