This Cost Manager role offers the chance to take a long‑term position on one of the UK’s most high‑profile nuclear programmes, supporting delivery at Sizewell C while maintaining a genuinely workable hybrid arrangement.
You’ll be joining a well‑established PMO environment where cost control, insight and influence genuinely matter. This is not a reporting‑only role — you’ll be close to the project teams, shaping decisions, improving visibility and helping major infrastructure projects stay on track.
The working pattern is designed to be sustainable. You’ll typically be on site at Sizewell 2–3 days every other week, with the remainder worked remotely or from office, giving you exposure to the project without being tied to site full‑time.
What you’ll be doing
Owning cost performance reporting across complex nuclear projects
Supporting project teams with accurate, timely cost submissions
Tracking actuals against baseline and identifying trends early
Delivering earned value analysis and clear performance insight
Supporting forecasting, budgeting and cost re‑baselining activity
Working closely with commercial and finance teams to ensure accuracy
Providing confidence in the numbers used for senior decision‑makingWhat this role gives you
