£25,500 per year + mileage reimbursement

Boomerang Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and confident Homecare Supervisor to support our community-based care services in Gateshead.
This is a guaranteed-hours role offering stability, progression, and the opportunity to make a real difference.
About the Role
As a Homecare Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and mentoring care staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting service users with both complex and routine care needs in their own homes
* Delivering personal care, companionship, and domestic support when required
* Mentoring, training, and supporting new and existing care staff
* Completing care plans, reviews, and quality checks
* Conducting medication audits
* Providing out-of-hours support on a rota basis
* Supporting service users with social outings and medical appointments

What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a care role
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
* Strong communication and IT skills
* Experience with moving and handling
Desirable (training can be provided)
* NVQ Level 3 or 4
* PEG feeding experience
* Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities
* Medication management experience
