The Role:
As a Receptionist, you are our patients' first point of contact, playing a crucial role in ensuring they receive the best care from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include:
·Welcoming and registering patients efficiently.
·Coordinating with clinical teams to manage patient flow.
·Working rotational shifts that include both days and nights, with each shift being 11 hours long. This includes nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
Main duties of the job
·To provide a front of house customer service to all patients, relatives and visitors attending the Emergency Department, Minor Injuries Unit (MIU), Ambulatory Care and Clinical Decisions Unit
·By undertaking a wide range of administrative and clerical duties, support the clinical team to deliver safe, effective and patient-centered care

1. Literate and numerate with a minimum of GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics
Experience

2. Experience in an admin role.
3. Previous experience in a customer-facing position and of dealing with public both face to face and on the phone.
4. Experience of working in a clinical environment.

5. Experience of working with population form a diverse background.
