Work for a high profile company playing a pivotal role in the transformation of their Portfolio Management function, driving the shift to a centralised delivery model. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to shape and maintain a strategic roadmap, improve demand management processes, and ensure an integrated portfolio plan. You will also oversee corporate performance to ensure alignment with agreed delivery plans.
This is a 12 month Fixed term Contract with 2 day minimum hybrid working in Reading each week.
What the role will be doing:
* Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic roadmap in collaboration with senior leadership.
* Oversee execution of roadmap activities, tracking performance and providing prioritisation insights.
* Manage and integrate the portfolio plan, including inflight work, with regular performance reporting.
* Facilitate reviews of corporate performance to ensure alignment with delivery goals.
* Lead portfolio change management through planning cycles and governance processes.
* Present clear, data-driven insights and dashboards to demonstrate delivery progress.
* Own the configuration and support of project management tools.
* Champion a transparent, collaborative, and values-led working culture.
Experience needed:
* Proven experience in portfolio management roles
* An extensive background in building and aligning strategic roadmaps
* Strong on portfolio management - prioritisation and integrating plans
* Strong track record in project financial accounting and reporting
* Solid understanding of risk management frameworks
