Role overview
An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join our Rural Land Management and Consultancy team in Inverness/North Scotland as a Director.
The Rural team provides estate, farm, and property management, along with professional rural advice, collaborating closely with residential, farm, estate agency, farming, forestry, natural capital, and finance teams.
The primary focus of this role is estate and property management.
* Act as senior asset manager for a key estate management client, working closely with senior colleagues;
* Manage diverse rural assets with support from various teams, handling rent reviews, lease negotiations, disputes, repairs, and strategic objectives;
* Ensure delivery of key client objectives;
* Maintain compliance with internal and client standards;
* Identify opportunities to develop new business for the team.
Skill set
* Experienced professional advising and managing rural assets, especially let farms and residential properties;
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise teams;
* Excellent prioritization and high standards under pressure;
* Exceptional communication skills for building relationships with clients and stakeholders;
* Entrepreneurial mindset aiming to enhance the business’s profile and performance.
Qualifications
* MRICS qualified – Rural pathway with 10+ years PQE;
* CAAV/SAAVA membership or qualification is advantageous.
