Azure Cloud Engineer/Architect - Contract (Inside IR35)
Location: Leeds (Hybrid, 1-2 days per week on-site)
Rate: £400-£500 per day (Inside IR35)
6-month contract
We are supporting a major IT service provider looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer/Architect to support cloud cost optimisation and platform delivery.
You'll play a key role in designing, building, and operating Azure landing zones, ensuring they\'re secure, scalable, and aligned with best practice.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement Azure landing zones
* Build secure, scalable cloud architectures
* Operate and optimise Azure environments
* Implement governance, security, and networking best practice
* Work closely with platform, DevOps, and service teams
Qualifications
* Strong Azure engineering and architecture experience
* Azure landing zone (CAF) implementation
* Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, automation)
* Networking, identity (Entra ID), and security controls
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM)
* Experience working in an MSP or multi-tenant environment
